Jill Hunting is currently working on her second nonfiction book.
Previously, she wrote about wine and food for The Napa Valley Reserve, the exclusive wine estate that has been called America's first wine country-club.
She was Senior Editor of Vine Napa Valley magazine, Senior Editor of Appellation: Wine Country Living magazine, and a feature writer and columnist for The Wine Journal.
She edited Celebrating the Seasons at Westerbeke Ranch by chef John Littlewood, The Sonoma Valley Story by newspaper publisher Robert M. Lynch, and Design Wise: A Guide for Evaluating the Interface Design of Information Resources by Alison J. Head, Ph.D.

As Marketing Copy Manager for HarperCollins San Francisco, she oversaw the development of marketing copy, including the seasonal sales catalog.
Since 2002, she has published "Truffle Secrets," a newsletter about the famously expensive delicacy, and has written numerous articles on the subject.
